What is ghostwriting?

Ghostwriting is a service where we, as professional writers, collaborate with you to bring your book idea to life. We work behind the scenes to write the manuscript while you take credit as the author. It's the best way to turn your ideas into a polished book, especially if you're short on time or writing experience. With our expertise, we'll ensure your story is told exactly as you envision it, making the process seamless and stress-free for you.

 

What is the process  for working with us?

The process begins by connecting through Marco Polo video messaging to discuss your book goals, ideas, outline, themes, and provide content. From there, I will develop the book and chapters and begin the writing process, using your Marco Polo details and information to accurately capture your vision and voice. There is ongoing collaboration via Marco Polo to ensure alignment throughout the writing process. You’ll have the opportunity to review and provide Marco Polo feedback until the final draft meets your approval.

Do you take calls or do Zoom video conferences?

No, I exclusively use Marco Polo for all author communication and feedback. This allows both of us flexibility to connect via quick video messages on our own time. I have found Marco Polo to facilitate more efficient, convenient conversations than scheduling lengthy calls or meetings. If you prefer real-time discussion, we can certainly coordinate joining a Marco Polo chat simultaneously. But phone calls or Zoom meetings are not part of my standard ghostwriting process. Marco Polo helps keep projects moving forward quickly!

How long does the ghostwriting process typically take?

The overall process depends on your ideal or targeted book release timeline. I structure process pacing and writing timelines based on your desired launch date. If you need a quicker turnaround, we compress steps where possible while not sacrificing quality for an additional cost. Longer timeframes allow more expansion for feedback and revisions. The writing itself averages 12 weeks, not counting our initial outline framing and ongoing Marco Polo conversations. But I adapt efforts to meet your launch goals. Just share your ideal release date, and I’ll take care of the rest!

What is included in the ghostwriting package?

The ghostwriting fee covers the complete writing process: chapter writing, editing, book cover design, monthly progress reports, review and revision time via Marco Polo until book completion, and final manuscript delivery. It does not include printing or distribution. Additional services can be bundled or arranged separately.

Are books included in any packages?

Printed book copies are sold at an additional cost after you approve the final manuscript. Our publishing platforms make printing on demand and e-books fairly affordable. Let’s discuss options!

What is your refund policy?

As a boutique ghostwriting service built on extensive author collaboration, I am fully committed to ensuring your complete satisfaction with the final product. However, due to the high-touch, custom nature of my ghostwriting process, I do not offer any refunds or cancellations once service has commenced. I will work diligently to address any concerns that arise around accurately capturing your distinct vision and voice throughout the process. My commitment is to deliver a book reflecting your unique perspectives and ideas. I welcome open communication should you feel we need to course-correct at any point.
